Trying to get clean again.. Unsure of where to start, got clean and stayed sober for 6 years before slipping up a couple years ago.. Heads just discombobulated and my demons have taken hold again.. A conundrum of chaos lol

because noone will ever say shit to your face, it's always behind your back and you can't get back at them
 
I'm sad.

Been thinking a lot about my old friends, the ones I dropped when I got sober. Most of them are homeless, some since they were 13-14 years old. Most of them have no families to support them, if they wanted to change their lives. They have no choice in the matter. I feel so fortunate right now, to have family members who were willing to bail me out (again) and give me another opportunity to make something of myself. These kids never had the opportunity to learn basis life skills, and will likely be homeless alcoholics and addicts for the rest of their short and miserable lives. I spent 3 years interacting with kids like this and becoming friends with many of them. I had a dream last night that included many of them, so I was thinking about this all day. It's just so sad to me that they're basically lost souls doomed to a lifetime of misery. :\
 
Annoyed - a broken elevator in the building of my apt is busted and making noises and it woke me up grrr.
 
Sleepy. I set my alarm for 6 to see the eclipse but then turned it off right away and slept for a few more hours.
 
^ Was the eclipse because of the time change? I still have yet to see an eclipse :(
 
No, It just happened to fall on the same day. I saw one when I was probably about 8 or 9, but haven't seen one since. I usually just totally forget about it or it's too cloudy to see anything. :(
 
Hopefully I'll catch it one day! ^

I am currently excited for my vacation next summer. Vancouver, BC! <3:D
