Comforting - Been feeling like a shoulder tonight, figuratively of course. A good friend of mine is going through a harsh time right now after a weekend of too much fun. Helping her realize that things might be getting out of hand with her drug use.

I had a disturbing dream that woke me in the middle of the night.

I am also tired.

I do not sleep well. I have difficulty falling asleep. I have difficulty staying asleep. The bad days I get 2 hours (or less) of sleep. Yesterday into today now has been a bad day for sleep. Good days I get between 4 and 6 hours.

I've been trying to exhaust myself physically and mentally to have nothing left but the need for sleep. I get close, but then I lay down prematurely and am back up after somewhere between 30min and 2 hours. Because of this attempt to exhaust myself I am also feeling sore and cloudy.
