The past two days, I've had pod tea, and both days I've had horrible stomach pains and aches...I only vomited once yesterday, but today, it's been an all day thing...I have to stay in bed, or else I get the urge to throw up, even just from walking around my room/kitchen. Could it be that my pods were sprayed with certain chemicals that are making me very sick? I've had pods before with good results...

There isn't enough information here... Do you have a tolerance? Are you experienced with pods?

I would say its much more likely that you just took too much and the morphine is making you nauseous. Are you itchy as hell? Are your pupils pinpoints? If so to either/both, I'd say your dose is just too high.

Opiates cause nausea, especially in people with little-to no tolerance or when you exceed your tolerance and potency can vary quite a bit with pods.

Thanks for the reply. I should've been more specific...I'm not opiate naive, but I don't have much of a tolerance...more of a weekend warrior nowadays, and just pods at that. However I don't think tolerance is the issue...I am itchy and whatnot, but the nausea feels different than the typical opiate-induced type...it's been affecting me all day since I first dosed about 12 hours ago. I also used the same pods that I used yesterday, just re-rinsed, and added 3. I guess if those 3 were more potent, that would point towards that being the issue, but I don't think so.

I've spent the majority of the day in bed, and when I do get up, to try and eat or do anything simple, I get very sick to my stomach and have to lay back down. I'm definitely going to lay off the pods, at least until next weekend...I guess I'll try a lower dose next time and see if that really was the problem.

I had the same problem with seed tea before (only tried it once, never again, got a good buzz, but the stomach pain overrode it), as well as morphine itself, i am very opiate tolerant but for some reason morphine sometimes (not all the time which is odd) causes me horrible stomach cramping even at low to moderate doses, no other opiate has ever had that effect on me. so hard to say, not a lot of info to go on, but it may be simply morphine doesn't agree with you.

Been a pod tea user for six years and have never had stomach problems. Perhaps its a bad batch (moldy maybe?), or you took too much, or like said above morphine doesn't jive with you.

Have you had a bowel movement recently? Opiates slow them down which sometimes causes stomach cramps.

All good advice in here. Definitely check for mold in them before using them if you don't already. If they were healthy pods and it wasn't mold causing the stomach issues, it easily could have been the pods themselves, because they definitely can make your stomach hurt pretty sharply. I noticed that I got this much more the first few times I used poppies, but not so much after my body got used to them. Also, I noticed that the nausea was much stronger with the pods than with just morphine. Tommyboy's mention of stomach cramping from bowel issues is also potentially a cause. You may have to experiment a bit to find which is causing this... Taking a smaller dose would be the first step, IMO.

take the calcium tums... it's 100% calcuim so its not bad for you...

you can also grind it up and put it in the tea (its supposed to change the morphine into another version of morphine longer acting)

but, after you drink the tea, take 2 of the tums and it will settle your stomach..

nuff has been said about this in other pod threads, UTFSE..

Thanks for the replys. I take Miralax almost every day, which helps a lot with the GI problems...I also have been chewing up 2 tums right before I drink the tea. I'm convinced it was just a bad batch of pods...I guess I'll find out for sure next time when I do a smaller dose. I never knew about mixing it with the tea to make a new version of morphine...I'll have to try that.

If it isn't chemicals, I've experienced similar effects myself. I think it's caused by certain compounds that naturally occur in poppy seeds and pods. I've noticed that tea can cause a lot of gas production, and this can cause a LOT of nausea, especially when it is produced in the intestines and has no easy way out.

Try taking some "Gas-X". When I'm using the tea to ease withdrawal while quitting the needle, it's an absolute necessity. It clears up my nausea from tea as easy as snapping my fingers.

Make sure you test this by trying a different supplier though, it could actually be additives. They sometimes process them with chemicals that are harmful to humans but are justified, especially in court, because the products are not meant for human consumption. Yeah, bullshit, I know, but you'd better get used to being part of the permanent underclass we've created on Earth - those who like to alter their neurochemistry.

Good luck, friend.

Dude are u straining all the solids? Sometime the grinds will give u mad stomache issues. I've had pod patvhes that didnt really get me high but set me up with a stomache ache for the rest of the day. Got my gf sick too. Certain batches is my bet
