Hello Bluelighters.
I'm Cyric and what brought me here was trying to do searches on drugs to help battle the effects of depression. Personally, I drink and do drugs socially with friends 90% of the time, just because I find that I don't really have any desire to get inebriated on my own. For me, it's all about the social atmosphere and enjoying the experience with others. There's nothing like having a few drinks, passing around a joint and jamming with your buds. Since i've moved away from my hometown, i've experimented in, and lately have gotten more comfortable doing other things such as acid, cocaine and muffins recreationally (aside from just marijuana and alcohol) because everything i've tried has been tested or done first-hand by someone I know (being educated on the stuff and playing safe was my selling point to try them).

With that being said, and going back to why I came here in the first place (depression), i've always treated it as a mind over matter deal. It's impossible for me to stop the way I am feeling when it hits, but I know what it is and can therefore cope with the symptoms until i'm able to bounce back. I'm not entirely interested in getting a prescription and being on it for upwards of a year to deal with it since i've managed without my whole life, but I am looking for some knowledge and feedback on some drugs that might provide some quick fixes and have fun with at the same time. I've tried going through the search feature but wasn't very successful in finding any threads that relate to the specifics of what i'm searching for. A point in the right direction would be fantastic.

Other then that, it looks pretty easy to find anything else I want to learn about on here and i'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge.

Hi, Welcome to Bluelight !

I know depression, and I've been on many meds for it, but can't really recommend them here. There are various kinds of depression. Some SSRI's help for others mood stabilizers are better. It really depends on the individual and what his/her doctor recommends, IMO.

How are you doing now? Please read the rules below when you have a chance. I also can move your post to another forum for depression if you like, but yeah… cannot offer drug recommendations for quick fixes on Bluelight. Please pm me if you have any questions. :)
