It's not so bad.
I'm in what they call the "Atlantic Avenue Assessment Center." Some people call it "Castle Greyskull." It's an old armory that got converted to a homeless shelter. The security is very heavy so I don't fear getting knifed/assraped in the middle of the night.
It's better than where I was; couch surfing on some friends couch, amid filth, never ending partying, and roaches. I'll likely have my own place in a few weeks. This time I'm going to be selective: NO RETIREREES - NO WELFARE RECIPIENTS - NO PICKY 'IT'S MY HOUSE' types.
Such people are all the time cranky pains in the ass who have nothing to do all day but mind your business. Yeah, it's your house but you're taking my fucking money, so now it's my house too. Collecting benefits? Nice for you but I work for a living and don't take your self pity out on me.
