Huh? No, of course not... BBS'es died several years ago, if there are any, then chances are it's some rogue BBS maintained by some dork that wants to keep it up for the sake of things passed.. it's actually kinda sad they are all gone.. the days of playing LORD till sunrise, staying logged on while you sleep because it's only a 2-node BBS and you couldnt get back on if you logged off.. waiting for the latest OCBL to see what that favorite boards number changed too.. ahh the memories...
Drug BBS'es - um, they were all a collection of worthless text files about making meth from vicks, if you want drug information thats worth it's weight in kilobytes then you need to stick to boards like this one (bluelight, ODU, overgrow, the somniForum, or some of the 'others' each with their respective experts) ..
 
My dad used to run a BBS called "The Lore Board" for like 8 years or something. Started out on a 5mg HD and a 300 baud modem....It eventually made it's way up to a <gasp>28.8K and a 1.2gb HD. Anyway, the games were fun. I used to kick some ass on LOD(Land of Devestation), and several other games he had running. Had a pretty good customer base until I started shutting it down so I could dial into a local free internet server. So I'm with PhreeX on this one, the internet has made BBS obselete. Especially the "drug BBSs" like pancreas.com that were filled with mis-information.

My god that was the same exact thing that went through my head when I read the title, I had no idea anyone remembered that old Atari 2600 game, Pac Man With A Bear aka Crystal Castles. That game WAS the shit.

This "other drug", BBS........ where can I get it? Will it get me totally fucked up? Everybody here seems to be looking for this "other drug" BBS, come on guys hook me up! :p
