Since writing + posting this, ive refined it slightly to make it better... I have a chord progression for it somewhere but its not anything I remember, its mostly just a melody.

That bit stuck out for me. Mourning the loss of loved one's for such a long time, they'd want me to live. So, to honor them, today I choose life. Thank you for writing this. It's helped me move on in a bittersweet way.

Thank you! I have some chords and stuff as well for a rough idea, I'm gonna start the process of recording it and making it a proper song soon I think

TBH with you I only clicked on the thread cause I skim read the title and misread it as Hitler whistling and wanted to know what random meth ramble someone had dug out of their head but was pleasantly surprised, that's got a pretty dope flow to it man.
I might dig out some old poetry/lyrics if I can be bothered, never actually showed anyone most of them or they're on old phones with smashed screens cause I was too embarrassed they might be shit but it's anonymous on here and fuck what internet strangers think haha
