High School Reunion

So here we stand face to face
Once again, and I can't help
But wonder what is different
And what has changed that you
All of the sudden remember my name
And that I even exsist on this
Miserable planet we call home
When just three years ago
You watched me and pointed,
Poked fun as I stood alone
With my head hanging low
When noone took the time to
Know my name, or question my
Presence in the community I
Reluctlantly called my home
What has changed?
How is it different?
Forget who you are
I want to know what you are
How can you justify your exsistence?
How can you expect me to
Make those years of misery
Disappear and welcome you with
Open arms?
No warm greeting
Or concerned look can
Erase these scars you
Embedded on my mind
And the pain you caused
With your hateful words
And mocking actions will
Never go away.
