High definition hearing on Mdma

This.

"MDMA scene" may be "on the decline" in your area, but that's just your area. There may be a lot of pipes and no good rolls in one area, but in another area it's nothing but high grade molly. You just have to know people.

on the whole, its on a decline. the flood of pipes alone confirms it. compared to even just 5 years ago, its nothing like it used to be.

on the whole perhaps, but some of us still got high quality pokeballs and clean molly.

Or perhaps you abused harder than me and lost the magic...

Either way I have my doubts that much has changed in the ecstasy market since 2005... its just gotten bigger is all. With a larger market also comes a larger amount of crap, you just never noticed it before. 8)

When I am on MDMA, music tends to get powerful energy. It's like you can almost feel the music and not just hear it. I sometimes gets this when I am sober (and in a really good mood as well).

yes i did abuse harder than you but as i have said many times before i have no idea where this term "losing the magic" has come from because i always rolled. every time i took X, even at my most hardcore abuse. as long as it was legit X, and it always was back in my abusing days, i rolled. yes some were weaker than others so i would have to take a little more, but i always rolled. i guess its diff for everyone.

From my rave this weekend in Chi town, I've learned a few things: If this is what raves have become, it IS on a decline. I definitely opted to get it and go home. I had no desire to be around those tards.

However, MDMA is everything I remembered :')

This thread is not about whether or not the "scene" is on the decline. But it's great that you had a good time. :)

The music enhancement is one of the main reasons why I love MDMA so much. Its the only substance I know of where the music fucks you up (besides LSD). Just so beautiful. I probably wouldn't use MDMA if it didn't have this property to it.

mmm... what can I say... ?

trypto/PEamine combos can enhance detail to the point where it becomes possible to hear the difference between 16 and 24 bit... at one point SWIM was convinced that SWIM could hear continual, consistent lead on "Master of Puppets". Great for dissecting tracks, although one can get great detail out of ganja and some of the 2C/piper cocktails running around the clubs these days. Of course, lots of luck repeating the experience sober... in that case, the proof of what you learned is in what you retain at baseline, of course. :). Drink your green tea, take your ALA and Vit C and EFA's

SWIM was having a tremendous hearing week; then SWIM got dragged out to Rammstein on some molly, and even with hearing protection, was complaining of tinnitus for days.

One of the cooler things about MDMA for me is that when I take it at home and it just starts to come on pretty good, I can "hear silence". I become so aware of the silence that it becomes it's own type of sound. It's super cool but only lasts for quite a short time as part of my rush.

Took the words right out of my mouth. But after, I can hear like a friggin pindrop and my breathing and especially the music. Oh god the music.

I don't know how else to explain it, but I like to have all noise off like the radio and TV and sit on the couch and somehow I become so aware of the silence that it becomes it's own type of sound. It's super cool but only lasts for quite a short time as part of my rush.

I experienced what you describe too (while coming up) and it was a very nice experience the silence seemed so beautiful. And of course MDMA makes music sound so much better.

Keaton: with all due respect, your 'American' corporations are 'socialized' via subsidies, as publicized by the bailout. If that money had been given to the poor, imagine what good it could have actually done the economy.

tr14d: While it's true that we canucks are statistically less stupid about certain things, I defy any sane, non-acclimatized person to say that it matters when the mercury freezes and one's Civic rolls over in bed and tells one to fuckoff... Canadians will endure stupidity in cold and snowfall which would keep the army at bay in most other civilized countries.

Getting back on topic, shrooms and green provide similar improvements... the emotional kick is certainly the most present with MDMA, and the ganj provides the most convincing evidence that there is 'something there' in the music that isn't just psycho-acoustic/somatic, etc. As far as fungi go, probably the most creatively inspiring, if you can find the damn middle 'c' on the kb in all the confusion ;P
