Opioids hiccups

hey all

im on percecet for an injury and for the last 10 hours ive been hiccups non stop


i cant stop the medication until the surgery but these hiccups are getting annoying

Common side effect of opiates. Try taking a deep breath, and then continue trying to inhale more and more air until you literally can't get anymore air into your lungs and then hold your breath for 20 seconds. Always works for me.

I get hiccups too. If you can stand, take about a shot of red wine vinegar. Not sure why it works, but I read it online somewhere and it works every time for me.
