Hey everyone.

I'm new to BL as a poster but have lurked for years. I have the usual boring chronic pain story...ten years with multiple spine problems...started using opiates to help the pain...have "graduated" to time-release medication (specifically oxymorphone) and am constantly trying to "use as directed" as opposed to actually ENJOYING my meds (which ultimately leads me to run out early).

I've lurked here for so long, it feels strange to actually post. From Bluelight, I've learned how to get the most from my opana, how to stay well when I run out (various methods) and how NOT to piss of the long time members haha.

I hope to learn more and potentially offer some insight if needed. I'm grateful to so many of you for sharing your experiences and ultimately, a better and safer way to alleviate my pain AND occasionally abuse (just being honest) my meds.

I'm from the pacific northwest and I love it here. :)
I hope to stay for a long time. :)

Thanks for the welcome, Laika. Yours have been amongst many of the posts I remember reading. Mostly because of the informative nature but partially because oftentimes, when a mod HAS to post, it's memorable in nature bevause you have to help guide some of us poor, uninformed members as to how we SHOULD be using the forums lol. I can't promise anything, but I'll do what I can to avoid being memorable in that regard ;)

Thanks, CosmicCharlie :)

It's always a good sign when long time posters (someone who has as many posts as you would qualify as such, eh?) have an affinity for the moderators. Some sites/boards have tension between their 'staff' and their constant-contributors. Those places usually end up being exausting to be a part of. Too much in-fighting. :/

I'm pretty happy that I finally signed up. I'm actually surprised to findthat I don't really know my way around. I realized that the one and only way I've ever lurked is by googling a question, phrase or word and then linking to a thread. Now that I'm actually IN, I'm kinda lost haha.

Anyway, thanks again for the welcome(s). Hugging someone for ten million years might lead to tired arms. I'm sure there are narcotics that could help with the stamina though ;) lol
