I think it was you who offhandedly suggested I invest into BTC cause I couldn't find drugs. lol I did and it's already up 50%. I kinda know how markets work but it seemed solid so jumped in. Hope in a few years I can cash out and shoot the moon.

Definitely not me. I'm actually long-term bearish on BTC although I've been saying that for years and consequently not buying any while the shit keeps going up. In fact, in the brief interval that I used it to buy drugs (this is before Silk Road was a thing) I thought that it was way, way overvalued at several hundred dollars a coin. I couldn't get rid of it too quickly because I thought it could crash at any time. I definitely should have held onto it instead of buying some drugs, as some people were telling me to do. Of course, it's easy to think that you had some great insights because your insights turned out to be right. So there's no great purpose in beating yourself up over being wrong. That said, now that banks are investing in it, it's a little less likely it'll be worth nothing overnight IMO. What might happen though is governmental regulation perhaps even to the point where, like they have done with gold in the past, private ownership is practically impossible. Anyway, massively OT, but no, you'll never catch me hyping BTC. I think it's a meme. A bad one. But a meme that has certainly made some people, even people I know, wealthy with very little effort. Just being techno-optimistic (which I decidedly am not) at the right place and right time.
