Hi, im Noah

Hi, im Noah (he/it/they). Im from Wisconsin, and I will be 15 in june.

Some intressting things about me are that I can play 4 instruments, i used to play roller derby, and I am a full IB student.

I came to bluelight because im a certifide dumbass who got themself addicted to opiates way to fucking early. I started using tramodol at 13 because I had undiagnosed depression and it made me actually feel somthing. I no longer have access to it and swiched to DXM because it is alot more easily exessable. Ive come here to find community, and harm requction so i dont accidentialy die because of my own stupidity.

(Just today i found out, curtosy of another bluelight member, that i could be lituraly killing my brain because i didnt know that DXM is dangerous for people on SSRIs... again... im an absolute dumb fuck.)

Its a pleasure to be here... i mean besides the drug addiction part... and i hope my sarcasm and self deprication can at least humor someone.
Welcome to BL man.
And goodluck kicking opioids.

Welcome man it's great you managed to find Bluelight as I feel it will be very beneficial for you.

I joined Bluelight when I was 16 and the information available here has been a godsend and definitely saved my life at least once.

Looking forward to seeing you around man!
Thanks, i appreciate it.

Hey Noah, I also use similar pronouns to you (except for 'it' which is not really my vibe).

15 is young, but you're also young to be finding harm reduction and potential sobriety. I started drinking at 12 and started using habitually at 14 or so with opiates first like yourself, then later I moved to DXM for the same accessibility reasons you did. I was also using DXM while on SSRIs so I cheated death on many occasions. Thankfully it's not a drug I use any longer. It feels largely unpleasant and I really didn't enjoy it the last couple of times I took it.

I think you have a bright future ahead of you. I was doing IB in my final years of school but dropped out for the regular course because I couldn't cope with that and my addiction on top of it, so for you to be keeping things together is really impressive.

I would think it wise to check out the mental health, recovery, dark side, and health areas of the forums as well as any areas of interest. Most people on here are pretty cool, and the moderators do a good job of keeping it chill.

I hope to see you around. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk about your drug use with someone as mine was really kind of eerily similar to yours so I may be able to offer something of value.

Thank you, that is very kind of you.
