Hello everybody! I joined Bluelight to converse with like-minded individuals about Psychedelics and possibly deal with some issues I've been having in relation to Psychs at this point in my life. Now I just wanted to say, if you've ever taken Psychs and you try to talk to somebody who hasn't every tried them, one of three things will happen.
One: They'll look at you like you're crazy and say something along the lines of "You were just hallucinating. It wasn't real. You should stay away from those drugs they're dangerous."
Two: They won't give you a crazy look nor will they tell you something like "You were on a drug be careful those things are dangerous.", however, when you discuss these experiences with them, they'll give off a vibe of disgust or superiority (on their part seeing you as lesser than them), believing you to be of lesser value because of your drug use, perceiving you as potentially crazy and different from their perception of 'normalcy'.
Three: They'll actually show genuine interest. These are a rare breed. However, if you persist on the subject, they'll get over their interest relatively quickly and view what you're saying as an obsession for the drug (which they may or may not equate to drug addiction).
Therefore, I'm looking to all of you helpful guys and gals with experience in these mystical experiences to help me integrate some of my older experiences that I've never posted on a forum like this in the past to see what people thought or recommended in terms of integration. I'll also be asking for advice on how to stop obsessing over these plant teachers. I don't mind thinking about them and compiling theories in relation to them and what they do, but I'm starting to become known as the Psychedelic guy, even though I haven't had a mystical experience since late 2016!

I just wanted to state that I've never had a full blown bad-trip but I came close once on Psilocybin. The experience proved difficult and wound up being so incredibly powerful that I vowed never to take a high dose of mushies ever again! This caused me to be anxious about taking even extremely low doses of other Psychs for a while, which I eventually got over.
Here's the thing. I haven't taken any Psychedelics since late 2016 (by personal choice). However, over the last month or two, I've been completely obsessing over Psychedelics. Everything from their medicinal and healing properties to theories about how they break down the ego and mix conscious and subconscious together in order to bring all subconscious issues (good and bad) to the surface. Also thinking about how bad trips could be due to resisting the subconscious emotions coming to the surface as well as the loss of memory of who the person is, most likely due to bad set/setting versus the people who accept the experience and are essentially cleansed in mind, body, and spirit.
Bottom line, I can't stop thinking about them. It could be a number of things. It could be a form of obsessive thoughts. Perhaps I need to integrate some past experiences of strong or wierd trips into my everyday life with the help of people like you guys. Maybe the Psychedelics are calling me to find them because they feel they have more to show me in relation to myself or a positive or negative influence within my life.
Idk, but I'm glad to be a part of this community now and look forward to talking with and sharing ideas with you guys.

I have somewhat of a philosopher mentality, where I take something seemingly simple and turn it inside out and on it's head until I've examined every facet of potential truth associated with it, especially with Psychs.

So I hope you will all welcome me to the forum with open arms I'm looking forward to talking with like-minded individuals (and getting help with Psych Obsession and maybe Integration) and perhaps I'll learn something important while using the forum.
Thanks!
