Hi, I'm new & first PM apt approaching fast... Nervous

Im 30 yrs old born with Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility. I suffer multiple dislocations & stay in pain. My disorder is not widely known & pain meds are the only way to get back to life. Scared bc im seeing an interventionalist and tired of not beimg able to clean, carry groceries, ect... Also worried because 5 yrs ago was in addicition treatment for methamphetamine and scared that will hinder the doctor from helping me. Scared too death and tired of popping out left and right. Im miserable
My disorder doesnt have radiographic findings and is diagnosed & determined by family inheritance. Me, my mom, my uncle, his sons, my late grandfather, & it goes on back.
Had an xray done anyways for record purposes and hoping someone can tell me something to ease my mind.

I can't say I have any knowledge of your condition, but maybe I can shine a light around that statement (bare with me I'm new too) whether or not this affects your treatment has a lot of factors, perhaps the biggest being where you are from (country/county) but second to that it boils down to the kind of person your doctor is. if he/she is fair minded, professional and understanding you will have no need for concern. if they are unprofessional, callous or vindictive then they may try to hinder your treatment in some way, but if your from somewhere like the uk, if they are that kind of person well you know what? you can just change doctors. and you can keep changing or receiving new opinions until you feel you are getting the care and treatment you require and deserve. best of luck with the rest
