Hi. ^_^ I'm Ethan, I'm 18 and I live in Ireland. I'm not really sure what else to say. Codeine is my drug of choice, and a lot of the reason I'm here is because if I try to talk to most people I know about it at all, they're just like "that is bad for you, you need to stop" and get upset, so I can't really talk to any of them about this anymore.
Anyway yeah. I have a slight habit of joining websites and then never being active on them, but I will try not to let that happen here.
Hi Rainbow, and welcome to Bluelight. What does the codeine do for you that draws you to use it? Being dependent on any drug is not healthy but just telling people to stop "because it's bad" is naive at best and very judgmental at worst. I think it is important to be in control of your own use, whatever that may mean to you. It's easy to rationalize of course and tell oneself that one is in control when it is in fact the drug that is in control. The only way around that is to pay attention and to be brutally honest with yourself. I hope that you will find the community here welcoming. Feel free to jump in as much or as little as you want.
Welcome. I joined for one of the same reasons you listed, being that it is rather difficult to discuss drug use with people you see every day. That's part of what makes this place feel so welcoming.
