? Hello people, just introducing myself and saying a little about me. I've been a user on and off for almost exactly twenty years, I have been through some very terrible times and almost gave up, I didn't want to wake up anymore. I hung on in there, there is always something around the corner. I met my current partner and we got engaged recently, we live in a beautiful apartment. I'm happy. I'm on methadone, but still have a 'treat' every now and again. Silly...I know. I have lots of interests including art, history, science and learning as much as I can. Nice intro - you sound like you've been through a twenty-year rollercoaster. But it also sounds like things have got much better for you. Glad you have a load of interests too, that makes it much easier to see there's more to life than just the superficial pleasure of a drug.
