according to oreocub I was way in the wrong place for my first question on this great forum. I'm positive it ruined the guy's (or girls) potential awesome night if it wasn't for me (noob) asking how much DXM cough syrup I can take while being on 20 mgs of Paxil. 34 yo. on Paxil since 18 yo and was more around 80 mgs at that age. just want to know if its safe for me to take tussin with DXM, everyone seems too cool to answer my question since it was posted "in the wrong forum" OK OK I admit it, i don't computer much but can I get a fucking straight answer before I take the whole bottle and die!?!?! thanks for your non sarcastic/nonkook comments sincerely.

Hey, welcome to Bluelight. I hope you didn't attempt to try the combination on your own without getting an answer.
Paxil is an SSRI, as well as DXM, so taking these two together can cause serotonin syndrome. I wouldn't even advise taking a low dose of DXM, you're basically playing with fire whenever you mix two SSRI drugs.
The only other option would be to stop taking the Paxil an appropriate amount of time before the DXM, but your mental health should come before tripping. If this is what you intended to take it for.
