Veteran of drug culture, but entirely new to online participation. I don't have any irl friends of this kin, so I thought it was about time to at least make some on the internet!

I usually like, in order of most used to least, opiates, stimulants, benzos, dissociatives and, rarely, mild psychodelics. I regular take opiates for chronic pain and cancer, and benzos for bad anxiety. (My non-illicit vices are just caffeine and nictoine, with some rare alcohol enjoyment. I know, super boring stuff that doesn't need saying, but I'm hyperfocused rn and have a dire need to type stuff.)

I'm very involved in the queer and activist communities, if anyone cares about those things.

On the whole, I get the most enjoyment out of active, stimulating conversation, learning and sharing knowledge, and trying to make those who deserve to be happy, as happy as I possibly can. Kindness and charity are very important to my faith and belief system!

Uh, right. I'm not sure how these intros usually go on here, so I'm not sure what else to add...

Really sorry to hear you're dealing with cancer - how well are you coping?

You sound like a very positive person. If you ever feel inclined to share that positivity with others that are struggling head over to The Dark Side. Community and compassion are the best medicines of all and man, could we use more of that in today's world.
