Hi my name is phenethylo J and I am a 22 year old college student that lives in FL and hope to make it into the world of pharmacology.

I have scoped this place out a few times in the past. Yesterday I did alot of lurking and from what I saw; made it imposible to resist joining this wonderfull place today.

Welcome phenethylo. What are you studying in college? Do you plan on graduate school? Best luck in your aspirations. I think there will be many more chemists studying psychedelics in our up and coming generation - many of us grew up reading books like Pihkal and will be inspired to the field.

The degree I want to persue is in pharmacology and toxicology. I am not shure what exact area I want to specialize in. I am still working on my undergrad and entering my 5th year. It is takeing a little longer than I intended because of some health problems and crap that have set me back a little but I'm still working twords geting stuff done.

At some point in my carear I'd really like to get into psychedelic research. It is something that really need further looked into by mainstream medicine and the facts that there has been a good number of positive media and news reviews about it helps.
