I'm trying to get clean off my opiate use. I shoot up heroin, as well as smoking black tar heroin. A few days ago I smoked too much black tar and I couldn't stop coughing/hacking up blood after. I also have asthma, and I couldn't breathe, I had to be put on a nebulizer for an extended period of time, and even after I continued to cough. This was sort of a wake up call for me, and after being a heroin addict for 3 years.. I decided to call it quits. I'm 19 years old now and female if that makes any difference. So I've been 3 days sober(I do a long list of other drugs in addition to opiates, such as hallucinogenic drugs and benzos, but I've stayed away from those as well.)
So at first I had normal withdrawal symptoms like pain/cramps and such but now I'm throwing up blood excessively, there is also blood in my feces. I'm in a lot of pain, and actually writing this via mobile while cringing in bed. Help please. I realize this also might be from benzo withdrawal, so keep that in mind too. I don't do any other physically addictive drugs, but I have experimented in the past. I really don't want to go to the hospital, since the police would get involved and everything. I'm so young and I don't want a record. What else can I do? I can hardly breathe and my nebulizer isn't doing much. My lungs feel like they're going to collapse and asthma inhalers just aren't working.

The only thing you can do to save your life & find out why there is blood in your feces is to go to the hospital. There is no way around this. You are coughing up blood, how is that not serious enough to go to the hospital? You could have other health problems that you dont know of & it could lead to something severe unless you get to the hospital a.s.a.p.

Any time you are vomiting blood or find blood in your stool you should immediately seek medical attention, especially if it is excessive. It there is that much blood involved you could literally be hours from dying.

Also, I would like to know why you think the police would get involved. The bowel/GI issues you are having most likely do not have anything to do with your withdrawal except maybe that the shits and puking brought on by the detox from H are helping you see what you may have missed in the past.

I don’t want to take away from how serious your situation is (even with out the blood/GI problems) but your story reminds me of an episode of Intervention about a very young girl who was addicted to smoking black tar and eating xanax. She also had serious lung issues and used a nebulizer.
