Heroin w/ virus?

My friend is trying to get me to stop dope. He says that in the city we live in , some dope is released every now and then that has a virus in it. If you sniff this , you will die. If you inject it in your arm , you have to have it amputated. I don't totally believe this , but it concerned me enough to post it on here to see if anyone else heard of it.?.
 
I think he is talking about the Cincinatti area. I believe there was some heroin batches released at one point that contained a deadly cocktail of a bunch of different chemicals. A LOT of people were dying left and right. As for the virus... Back awhile ago there was some mexican black tar dope that contained bacteria that could cause infection and death. Also, there is fentanyl sold as heroin sometimes, many times more potent than heroin, if you IVed what you'd normaly IV of heroin you'd OD and die. So, yes, there is some truth to what your friend is telling you, but I wouldn't be too worried about it. Stick with batches that you know are tried and true and you shouldn't have a problem.

I think it would be stupid to hear something like that and just shrugg it off. Thats how people die.
 
Huh? a deadly cocktail of chemicals? What kind of deadly chems would that be? A bad cut? or just some freak cutting it with something he/she/them/it knows will cause death. The people that would do that are insane or people that have a hang-up against H users and there sole purpose is to kill the drugs users. Do you have any documentation on thoses cases? Or do you know what the deadly cocktail of chems were? Or is that just an assumption?
No it was well documented, I don't have the time to search for the articles right now. The specific intent was to kill people. I believe the Police's theory was that a rival gang was selling counterfiet batches with the deadly cocktail to hurt the business of the dealers.

Tar is the most unrefined form of heroin, some batches are not "cleaned" up as others. Some tar is cleaner than others, Whats left over in the dope is "organic matter" which can cause problems when injected especialy when the shot is IM/SC/or missed the "vegitation/organic" matter can cause problems such as bad skin reactions, abbcess's, irritation and other skin ailments. The most serious being botulism (sp?) a disease/health problem (at least I think its a disease but probably more like a sickness) it turns the skin black around the infected area and if gone untreated it is possibly to lose a limb.
Again, there was DOCUMENTED cases that some batches from Mexico contained a DISEASE. Not just organic matter. I'm not saying that this is always the case that can cause loss of limb, but maybe thats where his friend heard it eh?

If I recall the bacteria/virus was Anthrax .. but yeah, what your 'friend' is telling you sounds like bullshit scare tactics - tell him you're glad he is concerned, but he needs to educate himself and kindly leave you alone..
