Hey, so I am kind of curious as i'm sitting here thinking about cooking up another shot of good ol' west coast Tar. This particular stuff I got tonight actually turned out to be different than I've seen before.

Anyways, what I'm wondering is, is re-dosing, which in my definition is shooting up again relatively quickly after your last shot, in hopes increasing your high or trying to get "higher" or whathave you. You all know what re-dosing is. %) is it dangerous or any more risky than just regularly shootin'?

I'm thinking it may be because I don't ever feel very "high" most of the time anymore on dope. But I usually keep trying, stupidly, to get higher by shooting more even though I know it doesnt do anything besides probably cause more CNS depression?

Anyone got any input? thanks.

I'm not really sure what you're asking.. If you're asking if taking your dose in two (or more) shots instead of one is more dangerous, then no. If you're just asking if taking more heroin, in general, is more dangerous, than taking less heroin, then yes..

For example, if you have 200mg of heroin..

If you take 100mg, then 20min later shoot the other 100mg, this is definitely less dangerous than just shooting the whole 200mg to begin with.

But, taking 100mg of heroin, then taking the other 100mg 20min later is definitely more dangerous than not taking any more after the first 100mg

I know this all sound ridiculous / obvious. But I'm really not too sure what you're getting at.. When you say " is it dangerous or any more risky than just regularly shootin'? " - I really don't get what you mean.. You seem to be asking 'is my second shot more dangerous than my first shot".. Well, it really does simply come down to 'more heroin is more dangerous than less heroin'. However - the more you spread it apart (taking your 200mg over the space of 2 hours, in 5 shots, evenly spaced apart is absolutely less dangerous than just banging it all at once). "re-dosing" is definitely not more inherently dangerous than 'regular shootin' - by which I assume you mean the first shot of your day... but yeah, obviously the more drugs you take, the more you risk an adverse reaction.

By dividing your dose into a few (even closely spaced) shots is definitely safer than doing it all at once, for one you don't stack the peak quite so much, BUT - more importantly, dosing like that allows you to better appreciate how strong the gear is; obviously if you find yourself at the right 'spot' before you've had all your shots, you can simply not have the other shots.

Maybe the tar you've been getting is crap, or perhaps you're burnt out and need a break. Either way, why risk it? Better be safe than sorry.

Funny thing about any drug is that we will always be chasing after that same great high you had the first time you did that stuff but you can never catch it again. Guessing the basis to over doses?

I know what you're asking... You just have to feel yourself out man, you know your body better than anyone else. Theres been times where I shot up and I could feel I didnt do enough so I fixed up again right after. So yes its okay to do, technically, u just have to know yourself.

for sure man, thats kinda what I figured. I knew someone would understand what I was trying to get across, even though I was a little f'd up last night when I typed this.
