My understanding is that heroin may be cut with acetaminophen, caffeine, malitol, diazepam, methaqualone, phenobarbital, and fentanyl. I have read that fentanyl is up to "100 times more potent" than heroin. If that is the case adding 0.01 mg to 1 mg of heroin would double the mixtures potency.
Is there data on the ratio of heroin:cut substance for different substances sampled from urban areas. In particular is there data on how many parts heroin:fentanyl exist in heroin cut with fentanyl? or is there data on how many parts heroin:fentanyl exist in heroin that is likely to lead to lethal overdoses?
