does anyone seem to notice some change in themselves after using H?

i know after the last time i used H i wanted it so bad afterwards that i uncontously created a block for allot of my feelings so i could cope with the craving. after i realized it the cravings were reduced dramatically.

another friend feels it shocks his whole system for a month.

please share.

Not really,

After a week of comming off of strong opiates, my bowels, mental clarity and general mood begin to return.
The biggest factor for the amount of time this will take is how long you used for.........

im posting this because i saw a documentary that showed a junkie that all he wishs is to die, and when i thought about it allot of the junkies i talk with had this wish. when i think to it a little further doing h is like dieing. not in a bad way, just in a tranquil way, in terms of comfort.

I think that is just a classic example of the beginnings of psychological addiction. I did that after my first time too. Now it doesn't bother me as much anymore. I know 2 things 1) if I don't do any its not the end of the world and 2) I can usually get more anyway so I live me life, keep busy with normal day to day stuff and then I have my "special time" once a week. I think a nice little escape from the mundanities of daily life is therapeutic for me.

after stopping H after even a day or two of getting high, I would always experince 2 to 24 hours of not feeling anything, then about 24 hours where I would be so tired I could literally sleep for a day straight, then two days of feeling no pleasure at all and a two day long headache. Slowly the amount of pleasure I could get from life would build up, and subside, and build up again. It felt like all of my nueral pathways were reset to want nothing but more H. The after-effects were so bad, but I could easily overlook them and get high again. It usaully takes me a month or two before I lose the urges to do it again. Sometimes just thinking about it will bring on withdrawl effects like extreme nausea. Sometimes the worst "withdrawl" would be weeks after my last use, but while I was waiting on a dealer to cop and it would be all I could think about.

Personaly i have found this to be true when you have been addicted for some time. when i came off opiates after years of addiction i had lots of psychological crap, depression, anxiety, excessive mood swings that lasted for months. BUT many for many there could be an underlying disorder which is masked by opiates. Eg i have attention defeceit but didnt know til i came off opiates for some time.

Lol at most junkies wanting to kill themselves. I suppose i would have fitted a junkie classification: but what is a junkie? does a junkie = someone who injects opiates and has been addicted to em? If so, thats me - no never thought of suicide - ever. Even after 12 yrs on/off use.

junkies dont commit suecide, they shoot till they wiver up and and die.
maybe kinda like a slow suecide...

i do an H weekend once every couple of months. usually 2-3 days later i get this flush of feelings that make me all exstatic. i guess its my psych comfiscating the lack of feelings i had for a few days.
what i learned from h so far is how great it is to feel, but i personallly like a rest once in a while... 8)

BebeOriginal, you need to get in touch with your feelings. Don't be afraid to feel! To express! The H isn't helping that, it helps you tune out and and express once in a while, which is cool, but it's not your real personality.
Please cry, and PM me if you have any questions.

WTF?!

i had a short period (3 weeks) in wich the H craving made my psych to adjust itself so i can still function.
after realising it, the feelings came back along with massive reduce of cravings...

im a fairly happy emotional being. if ill need 2 cry ill cry.
hell, i cry everytime i see adward sccicor hands...
i express what i feel to trustworthy people in my life and in my art.

the H dosnt make me feel once in a while, it makes me not feel once in a while wich teached me alot.
i never use it to run away from a problem for the purpace of having the tools to solve and cope with a bad situation without shuting myself up and wanting to run. just isnt my style...

i was just sharing how i feel with u guys too and wanted to learn more from other people about H and how it effects their psych in the long run so ill know what to lookout for.

bebe happy camper :D

Its not the drug that effects your psychy, its the drug culture, its being apart of all the shit that goes which heroin eg.scoring, gettin ripped, crime, lies, bad people, all that crap that can change u.The drug itself doesn't do u any physical harm at all, except maybe make yr receptors grow+give u constipation. The drug Heroin has so much bad press, but its not the drug its what comes with it, if it where legal or available readily on script then these problems would disapear.(4 Real).
Its the cost of the stuff that turns junkies into what they are, all addicts start of just like u(most of em)normal people, its when they cant afford it things go wrong+they start to sell everything they own. They dont wanna sell everything or commit crime but when desparation sets in+cold turkey its amazing what one will do 4 a hit. Its a disease,no one wants it, u make a mistake once, thats all it takes+the rest of yr life can be fucked up!
Anyway sorry if i went off the subject just wanted to shed some light of what Junkies are.

^ i agree with most of what ur sayin. personaly although i used to be a heavy opiate iv user i never resorted to anything illicit to fund my habit cuz i always worked and had a good (prolly not the right word) dr connection. It is down to money and peer groups to an extent, but its also down to personal choice, i do know quite a few "junkies" who like me have never sold their soul, or their TV for their next fix. Having said that i think it stunts ur emotions a bit, but only in the respect of being neither happy or sad. It certainly never took my conscience away from me.

As for legalisation or access to pharm grade H, i dont think its gonna work, why:
1) what NHS doctors are gonna give week long pickups or whatever to addicts? Like the swiss program, they will want it monitored to prevent leakage to the black market.

2) so then, they will need to be supervised to take it 3 times a day minimum, can you really see an under rescoursed system getting staff to do a stint at night? Also, this keeps the addict from ever getting out of the cycle of dependency.

There are so many other issues involved with this i just cant see it happening on a grand scale. Although access to cheap H and crack will drive down the crime rate - but which goverments gonna be brave enough to do it?

im talking about heroin and its effects on the individual, please remain in the topic...:X
