heroin. in's, out's, advice?

im wondering what to expect my first time snorting heroin. how much should i do to get a good idea of what it is without going too far. also what should i be looking for so i know if i get quality product or not. please constructive criticism.
 
You'll want to snort a very, very tiny line. Just a tiny bump like this -. From there you can do more if nessisary. The problem with heroin is you don't know what your getting. The potency is highly questionable, and doing anything more than a tiny bump to test bag could be a fatal mistake. I can't tell you really what to look for, as I've not done heroin more than once. I usualy stick to pharmacuticals, because the availability of heroin to me is fairly low. But it should be tan-offwhite, the time I snorted it it had kind of that chemically smell that cocaine has.
 
Alright, you draw out your line - a SHORT LINE, then snort.. the taste will be kind alkaline - it's hard to describe but you can taste good heroin, and you never forget that taste.. sit back and wait.. in a few minutes you will feel this incredible warmth wash over your body.. the high is just the most incredible, well, nothing .. you're calm, at peace with yourself .. you will most likely get sick (vomit) .. maybe even more then once - but after you puke you will just feel that much better.. you might also itch, but it will pass..
It's a very hard high to describe, but I am sure one of the more poetic people will be able to..
Ever done painkillers? (Vicodin, Percocet, etc..) well, it's a lot like that, just more intense!
The most important thing is that you get an idea of it's purity - it might help to do a *tiny* bit first then work your way up..
THIS IS IMPORTANT - you *WILL* be dissapointed, sorry, everyone is their first time... if you have been listening to all you were "taught" about drugs (I use the term losely) then you expect "the most incredible euphoria of your life" .. or "a high so powerfull you will never look back" .. or my favorite - "10,000 orgasams all at once" .. it's nothing like that - you get some euphoria and warmth, thats it.. so don't make the mistake many newbies do - you do a line, get the high, but since you're expecting more, you think you didn't do enough, so you do more and stop breathing... lets avoid that..

Just to give props to the H-bomb, not everyone is disappointed with it. My first time was in fact "the most incredible euphoria of my life." Of course, this was shooting up some very good smack, my first time IV'ing, and my first time with a strong opioid. I and my friends (who felt similarly about it) were nodding out for a good 4-6 hours, and I was still noticeably buzzed (as if I were on say 20mg hydrocodone) about a day later. Had I to describe it... Well, I'd say it's like the intense euphoria you feel sometimes when you are in love; as if your heart were on fire and about to explode because you are just so happy. Only it lasts hours and comes with the ability to slip into these wonderful waking dreams. Plus there's the rush for about 5-10min at the beginning, but to be honest I really didn't enjoy that part all that much.

I don't enjoy the rush much either. It's not what I'm looking for in the drug. It's good to know you got good shit if the rush is strong, but that's about it. I like the confidence, the inability to think to far into shit. I can talk to people a lot easier and don't give a shit if people see me dancing in car when I'm driving. I actually like dancing in clubs also, cause again, I don't give a shit when I'm on it. I can also smoke MAD WEED and not get the normal paranoia I usually get. When I’m on, I’ll do a lot of nice things like visit old friends and sit and talk to my parents…and really listen to them. Shit, I even listen to things people say to me that normally I’d just blow off.

Just be sure you want to start using a drug that can be pretty greedy. I started using because I had to know. I even shot it, not only because I knew this is what all the hypes was about, but because of a lot of props to it I read on this site. I used Phreex's guide to IV'ing to see me through the process.....now I'm using his guide to withdrawal to help ease the side effects of moderate use and I may just have an un-accessed heroin problem. One major factor with any drug, but more so with this drug in particular...ignorance is bliss. Be careful.
 
Well, the rush was sorta fun, but nothing compared to the euphoria coming afterward. Friends loved it, but to me it just felt intense and a little strange. H has never made me dumb or immobile, I found it was actually easier to talk and do things... guess everyone varies.
