heroin in pills? not quite but...

this comes from the dancesafe.org dance drug mailing list, and from a guy who is usually reliable... keep in mind that this is about a drug that is a very distant relation of h, but it is still worrying...

.. and a bunch of other drugs .. then it gets interesting ..
247mg WHITE PILL WITH DEPRESSED "HEART" STAMP - SUSPECT MDMA - 23% (59mg)
MDMA (by weight), 19% (47mg) Meperidine HCl (by weight) - all to 99.98%
certainty
Goodness gracious .. they are putting DEMEROL in our beans .. and enough
you would feel something, well, a little something .. mind you, it's not
heroin (as heroin is NOT orally active in reasonable dosages) ... for those
who don't know, Demerol is strong narcotic pain killer .. it is in the same
"class" of narcotics as fentanyl and acts on many of the same opiate
receptors as heroin .. when taken orally you get a warm fuzzy feeling ..
47mg is a fairly low dose ..
Does the marquis reagent test for opioids?
As soon as I get access to a scanner I will post the lab test paper .. I
doubt they are wrong .. "

there might actually b H in E . my friend's (who was just sentenced to jail for dealing) mom sed she will pass me the test results from the 400+ pills he was caught with . it SHOULD b reliable cos they were tested in police labs . anyways have yet to hear anything from her .

Has anyone here actually ingested heroin? Like actually put some in a cap or something and swallowed it? Did it do anything? From everything I've heard h is not orally active, ie: it's not supposed to do much if you swallow it (in reasonable amounts I'd assume).
Anyway, if swallowing h doesn't have much of an effect then it would be a total waste of time (and money!) for anyone to put it in a pill - but then I'm sure there are a lot of idiots out there in backyard sheds who'd do it anyway...
Any self-respecting manufacturer would only put stuff in that has an effect that people like (MDxx perhaps...), if they want people to keep buying their wares that is. Just my 2 bikkies worth...

yeah well i think the truth of this myth really goes something like this...
if there was any then dancesafe, ectacy.org or eve would have found at least one pill with it in right?
even if there is some its not economical, but even if that was not true then you'd poo out a pills worth of heroin b4 you really felt it, unless the whole pill was h and then there is no way someone would sell it to you for 50 bucks...
still i'm happy to eat my words if we could only get proper gas spectro testing...

People, read Johnboy's post properly. It did not state there was Heroin in the pills but rather Meperidine HCl which acts on similar receptors to Heroin!! 47mg of H taken orally should not allow you to feel anything but 47mg of Meperidine will smack you out a little!!!
