I remember reading somewhere, maybe on Bluelight, that heroin really isn't a hardcore orgasm inducing drug where your eyeballs fall out and a boner busts through your zipper. Its appeal apparently lies in its reliability in the sense that a down-filled pillow can be trusted to feel soft even if there might be other, better pillows.
Last night, I mainlined black tar for the first time, and then for the second time an hour later. As a victim of the myth and awe-inspiring legend of heroin, I was very nervous about how intense the rush would be, and how I better prepare myself to avoid a terrible addiction.
What I felt upon loosening the belt and shaking my hand a bit up in the air was a surprisingly familiar opiate buzz. There was no moment of shocking amazement, just a feeling of satisfaction and comfort with a drug that is obviously competent at its job without being an annoying overachiever.
There were no noticeable itches unlike codeine, and the extended high reminded me of a mixture between oxycodone, hydrocodone, and klonopin. I can see how the addiction could sneak up on someone because of the seemingly benign nature heroin exudes within its effects. It really doesn't seem awesome, just satisfying. Like a BMW 3 series, it doesn't overtly flash and bang you to death, but its subtle and superior qualities make it superior.
I shot a bag and a half, doing about half that amount both the first and second time.
