I made another thread earlier today, so sorry for the bombardment, but I just really need some input on something I've been experiencing.
This one guy has the best heroin I can get, it's near the premium stuff that used to be around years ago before the general quality, at least in the UK, dropped so much. This was true until my most recent bag.
Basically, I keep passing out. This is smoking it and I have a pretty decent tolerance. I can smoke sheet after sheet at this point and not really catch much of a high (and my technique is good, I'm not losing vapour). Recently, I just keep passing out, and it's after this guy's gear. I'm going to do exclusively some other stuff I have for a couple of days and see if this is just something weird going on with me or something -- I have no idea what that would be though. I previously was pretty sleep-deprived and chalked it up to that, but that is no longer the case.
For whatever reason, there's a rumour that this guy cuts larger orders with benzos. I'm in the process of digging deeper to see if anyone tested and found that with a wedinos sample or something but multiple people have echoed this. I also did a urine drug test last week that came up positive for benzos. I am unsure when I last used benzos but it was atleast 20 days - probably over a month and it would of been diazepam. I am not a regular user of benzos at all, I use them very, very irregularly. I only use them when I've done too much pregab, and a couple of times so I could smoke weed without the anxiety that normally stops me from doing it (xanax those times). I have not done that for probably a couple of months though. I know diazepam can be detected in urine after a decent while, but was still surprised to see it come up.
This gear makes me incredibly sleepy but again, not really "high" in the sense that there is no euphoria or anything. With my tolerance, just smoking, I don't really expect there to be, but I also don't expect there to be that sleepiness. I have a pulse oximeter and my oxygen saturation is good on it, but I'm shaking my head trying to wake myself up yet without any of the good feelings. Previously, my problem was staying up for well over 24 hours on heroin often but now I can barely stay awake for a few hours, though I feel fine when I'm walking about doing things.
Anyway, I decided to put that bag to the side and move to one from someone else that is usually good but not as good as I'm used to from the first vendor (or used to be). Smoked a sheet and actually felt pretty nice, only a very mild high but was pleased to have any high -- this was two hours after smoking 230mg of the sleepy stuff which I smoked after waking up from passing out. Got partway through a second sheet and started nodding, then passed out. Woke up gasping for breath, sats were in the 80's (and was probably lower before as I was breathing heavily while getting it and waiting for a reading). Perhaps if that other guys' stuff is laced with benzos then some decent gear on top was just too much? No nausea or anything, though. Actually felt fine once I got past the panic/ enough time passed that I knew I was most likely out of the danger zone.
What's going on? I have not had an issue with either of these vendors previously and tbh since I've got a decent tolerance, and I'm only smoking, I do kind of hoover the sheets down. Is heroin laced with benzos a common thing these days? It hadn't even occurred to me before, or could it be something else? Can benzos even be smoked? I ordered bloody 14 grams off this guy and obviously not using isn't really an option at the moment. I'm just trying to get through to next month when I'll be getting on maintenance, I'd rather not die in the meantime.
The only cuts I've really worried about is fent and zines but they wouldn't produce this weird sedative but nothing else effect right? I'd be too high ,not just feeling stable but super tired? I'm gonna use more cautiously now but I'm just really confused by this, I've never experienced something like this with heroin before.
Can you buy strips to test for benzos? I don't think that's a thing right?
