Opioids Heroin and antibiotics

Hey, my doctor prescribed me Betaklav (amoxicillin) for small infection, so I was wondering - could there be or have you experienced possible side effects from using these antibiotics with opiates ( IV heroin/fentanyl)? Or maybe they do not interact at all?

I wouldn't expect there to be any interactions and after googling it I can't find any information to suggest danger of any sort from combining amoxicillin with opioids/heroin.

It would be wise to be cautious until you know how this combination will affect you personally but I don't see any specific cause for concern

You may be more susceptible to infection IIRC when on antibiotics, as they like to attack any bacteria they can. I would make sure you are being extra careful with your IV technique. Make sure the site is sterilized/aseptic as well as all of your equipment for prepping your shot.
