If you do heroin and you start nodding like every time u close your eyes u instantly start dreaming real deep in thought could that possibilly mean one is close to an OD? I've done heroin a few times but just wondering cause I'm in this state now and I don't wanna go to sleep cause I'm a lil paranoid, BTW I can still make myself breathe at this point

I was strung out on smack and other strong opiates for over 6 yrs so take that for what you will. I never slammed anything though, so that changes the way you should interpret the following.

The nodding is not indicative of an overdose in my experience. Whenever I have OD'd (yes you can overdose and not die) on opiates, I've always come really close to a nod but could feel a distinct difference (and had an intuition that I had done too much) and usually would experience unconsciousness fairly quickly and not really nod. Cold showers work well for staying "awake" and I always had naloxone on hand which thankfully I never had to use but I did get close a few times. As long as there is still ventilation, one of the main problems can be asphyxiation which seems to be what is the main cause of death in OD's it seems. Obviously, as long as you can stay awake, you will be fine but beware of vomiting and the position you are in. I've had times where my respiration rate was literally 3-4. It is a scary sensation but you will be okay (hopefully).

Try not to go to sleep if you truly are worried. When I was in your situation, I would notice the same things and not allow my self to sleep. I very well might have saved my life because of this. When it comes to things as potentially serious as this, there's no reason not to err on the side of caution.

Thank you!! Really informative answer I was looking for, well I feel better now actually did more (I know sounds stupid) but it kinda faded away. On the same topic but regarding something else about H, When you smoke H off foil likeI understand the concept but I've been leaving it in one spot for the most part cause it barely moves and when it does it barely slides down the foil and I'll get maybe 3-4 good hits before it just burns I guess and I'm left with burn marks and I just throw the foil away? I had a decent chunk theirs no way my hits were that good to do all of it I have to be burning it or something right? Your not suppose to let it stay in one spot to avoid that right? I'm more of a expert on Crystal than H smoking lol chasing the dragons not really my thing

I used to slide it around and even got so "experienced" that me and my friends would have contests to see who could make the coolest design but that's neither here nor there I guess. I think it is better to have it not stay in one spot though, but I'm not sure if that's true and if it is, why it's true.

I would save up my foils, then when I was out of H I would take the foils, scrape off the black stuff and then add it all together with a little bit of water and smoke that. It did work, albeit 3 days worth of foil probably gave me a hit or two worth of comparable hits from "fresh" dope.

I've been water lining heroin like a lot the past couple hours, amazing euphoria finally got the most of my H but I'm having chest pains well near the top left breast plate I guess you could say? Not severe just slightly uncomfortable. Heart attacks arnt common with heroin are they? Especially only with occasion use?

waterlining? as in mixing in water and snorting? ive conaidered using a nasal spray bottle for something simmalar
