HERO-IN A BLACK DRESS

Listen up while i confess.
Hear the story behind the mess.
I'll do my best to not digress.
Meet my hero in a black dress.

She came to me when I was weak.
Lost and broken, incomplete.
Wallowing in self defeat.
She promised me fast relief

Swearing to always be discreet.
Offering, for free, a love unique
While wrapped in her arms, so sweet
My demons fled, and i could sleep.

My lover was the jealous kind,
My mistress soon eased her mind.
Like another woman in our bed
She kept us warm, we kept her fed.

She didnt eat much, only my soul.
To keep her close, I lied, I stole.
Though my values were compromised,
In her embrace i could abide.

Next time my will is put to the test
I make no promises, but to do my best
To at least be honest, though i digress.
Her name is HEROIN, SHE WEARS A BLACK DRESS.

I like the words but damn I thought the post was about a sexy newcomer that was going to put it all out there.
Guess that shows one where my mindset is but just a small part of it.
