It is the most beautiful thing to watch your mind manifest upon the physical realm of reality.

technically theres no right or wrong when it comes to slang terms for drugs.

"Dope" seems to refer to all drugs...

"I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is: 'What are they in a position to do about it?'" (William S. Burroughs)

Dope is Dope. Depends on who you ask.
A surge in Dopamine eh? ummm yeah sort of... opiates opiate receptors.... Ah... I won't bore you with the details other than to say not really, but sort of.
The facts mam...only the facts.....
Here is somthing for ya to chew on:
Dope, meaning drug, arose from the practice of smoking a semi-liquid preparation of opium. This usage arose in the 1890s. The term dope meaning foolish, stupid person originally was restricted to mean a drug addict. The adjective dopey comes from the effects of the drugs. Green derives the more recent Black English term dope as an adjective meaning "good, pleasurable" from this drug sense.

Actually dope has been slang for drugs since the turn of the 20th century. It seems to have been coined right as heroin for medication was being banned. They couldn't have known about dopamine back then. I guess the word dopamine came from dope.

Dope is drug specific in some areas. Dope means H or synthetic in my area. I guess in Toronto Canada it means crack...or macadamia nut substitute.

Hell is not where you're going...it's where you are...

the word dopamine dosent come from dope. dopamine is the amine of a chemical called DOPA, short for dihydroxyphenylalanine. Doesnt really make sense, but check any biochemistry textbook and it will tell you.

its a broad base, non-specific term for any drug it seems. I only ever use to hear it used in reference to weed. But recently everything from coke to valium is refered to as dope. So now when you go up to a dealer and ask for dope, its sort of like those $2 lucky dip draws - never know what suprises you might find
