Hi there, guys and girls!
I came here for the first time a few days ago, looking for some very specific titbits of information. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I did find a massive drug database with some knowledgeable members. I figured I might as well join you, as I’ll probably be coming back here quite a lot.
My drugs: Definite favourite of all time is MDMA, usually with a little speed on top to keep me dancing like a madman at techno concerts( know where I'm from yet?
). It’s also brilliant for simply chilling out and bonding with my mates, playing in a sunlit forest or generally any activity that doesn’t involve responsibility or responsible people. Lately I’ve also started using GHB at (after)parties and loving it (don’t worry, I’ll be careful).
Apart from the party drugs I’m partial to the occasional life-altering, mind-bending, brains-dripping-out-of-my-ears psychedelic trip. So far only on (home-grown since they’ve been outlawed godDAMNit
) shrooms, but I’m looking forward to my first actual acid trip very soon!
I've also had little bits of cocaine, ketamine and benzodiazepines people have offered me, so far with the only effect of making me want to try these and lots of other drugs for real.
Outside of the weekend I’m a science student with a biology/chemistry background. While currently studying mostly ecology/environment/global warming stuff I’ll be transferring soon to something involving psychoactives and the human brain because I find that shit a lot more fascinating! I have some knowledge of and a lot of interest in chemistry/toxicology to offer you, but don't expect me to be a new Shulgin. I'm not there yet, but I'm confident this forum will help me get on my way.
In short, I’m a science nerd who can’t decide whether he loves the theory or the practice of drugs better, but is very sure he loves both!
By the way, maybe someone wants to help a newb? The original titbits I was looking for are the different pharmacodynamics of the potassium and sodium salts of GHB, and the oral, intranasal and (why not) rectal bioavailability of MDMA. The internet knows almost nothing about K-GHB, and even your massive bioavailability thread had nothing on my favourite drug.
