I would consider myself a fairly moderate user of opiates. I would only use every other day or so a moderate dose of usually vicodin or kratom and sometimes oxycodone. However, I have found that it has taken a major toll on my ability to sexually function properly. I can usually maintain an erection for awhile, but I am often unable to ejaculate or I will get tired after an hour or two and no longer be able to maintain an erection. From what I have read this is very common.
I know that testosterone or ED medication would probably help, but I don't have access to that. I know there are a lot of herbal supplements that are supposed to act as aphrodisiacs. Marijuana helps to an extent but I would like to also try supplementing with something else. I have read that Yohimbine is an herbal supplement and this site says: "yohimbe may also be used to bring sexual sensitivity and responsiveness back to a normal level when combined with other drugs that reduce these functions, such as alcohol and perhaps also opiates/oids." I have also heard of Maca and Ginseng helping in this regard but nothing I've read says they help with opiates specifically. Do any of you have good experience with an herbal supplement helping with this? If so what is it and how much did you take? Also, how long does opiate-induced sexual dysfunction last for you guys? I have found it can occur for even a few days after my last opiate.
