I've been readin the forums on acettaminophen overdose,, between saturday 2pm to sunday 1pm i took 19 norco 7.5/750..i dont feel to bad just a lil pain ..slept fine

You need to perform a CWE if you plan on taking that many pills

Taking that much APAP will put a hurting on your liver

You should never take more than 4000 mgs of APAP within a 24 hour period

b.c i know they give u an anticdote that reverses shit on the liver. but i think it only works within 8-16 hrs. my right side doesnt seem to be bigger under the rib cage and im not sweating but i dont have any appetite.

You took almost 15000mg. Wow. Anyways, "evidence of end-organ (hepatic or occasionally renal) toxicity is often delayed 24-48 hours postingestion."

It could take days for your toxic to really set in. I would at least call poison control or your local hospital and find out what they think you should do.

There are four stages of APAP toxicity:

# Phase 1 (0-24 h)

* Asymptomatic
* Anorexia
* Nausea or vomiting
* Malaise
* Subclinical rise in serum transaminases levels begins at about 12 hours postingestion

# Phase 2 (18-72 h)

* Right upper quadrant abdominal pain, anorexia, nausea, vomiting
* Continued rise in serum transaminases levels

# Phase 3 (72-96 h)

* Centrilobular hepatic necrosis with continued abdominal pain
* Jaundice
* Coagulopathy
* Hepatic encephalopathy
* Nausea and vomiting
* Renal failure
* Fatality

# Phase 4 (4 d to 3 wk)

* Complete resolution of symptoms
* Complete resolution of organ failure

thanks guys, i just got out of the ER and everythings negative..Doc said im very lucky and if i had taken all 19 7.5/750 at once i coulda been dead instead of over the course of 24 hours. Thanks for the few meaningful replies and I look forward to becoming more a part of this society

Thanks for the update and glad you are okay. It's good to see someone on here that actually took the advice and went to talk with someone in the medical profession. I'm tired of seeing idiots on here posting 'Am I going to OD' or 'Is this too much' and shit like that, and then do not take anyone's advice for seeking medical attention.

People seem to think the APAP toxicity thing is a joke, when in actuality is a quite serious thing.

Once again, I'm glad your okay, and may other forum members take notice.

Next time, do a CWE if you are planning on taking that many pills with APAP in them, or even better, find some pills no APAP all together. And welcome aboard to bluelight!

Thank you FM. Thats what I mean, you can either (A) Take the selfish route and hope you don't end up needing a liver transplant, or even die for that matter or (B) just seek the help. And even though I was totally fine (which i fine bizarre, good genes i guess.) i'm still happy with my decision.

I think as it gets harder and harder to get oxy etc. while at the same time the perception that perscribed drugs are safer continues more people will try taking APAP mixtures and these threads will continue

I really beleive there should be a CWE Tek sticky, the site is about harm reduction and that right there is harm reduction.
