A stimulant like cocaine can often mask some of the effects of an opioid so its easy to end up taking too much and overdosing due to the fact that the cocaine masks the sedative effects of the opioid to some degree.-DG
Also another thing to consider is that often when people do coke they drink as well, and if you've been drinking then you should not take an opioid because of the danger of mixing alcohol and opioids. -DG

Yes, but it's better just to not use cocaine at all IMO. Cocaine causes cravings for more cocaine, and then other drugs. It's just wasteful to use it IMO, and the high isn't as good as the drugs you'll use to remove the come down sensations.
