help with wet weed

ok so I got this great weed last friday, which smelled so strong that I smelled like weed without even smoking. But then by saturday the smell diminished, and the weed felt very dry. on sunday night I decided to fix this so I put my weed in a container with a small piece of lime and a few drops of water (not on the weed). I left it like that for a 2-4 days and about 30 minutes ago I examined the weed. The smell was back, and I was relieved, however, it was very wet. As in, I would touch it and it would stick, and also I could mold it like playdough, although It wasn't dripping or anything like that. So,
1 Is this going to effect the quality?
2 What can I do to make it more dry?

Mold could have started to grow on it in that time and with moisture. I wonder if the lime juice could have affected this.

If you are sure there is no mold:
1. Firmly press on it (from all sides) with a paper towel.
2. Use a hairdryer on it.
3. Just let it sit in the open.

a glass jar is always the best for curing buds, well it always worked for me

I always find if you open up the ziplock bag its in or sit it out overnight it dried it out a bit. Obviously you lose weight though.

To dry buds, all i do is put all the weed on a sheet of paper or dvd case and leave it in a dark cool place over night, like a drawer or something, its the best way ive found so far.

Wtf? your weed dried up & the smell reduced. Which makes it easier to grind up/smoke, and to stash. Then you go and moisten it all back up? what the hell for dude?

^Some people like their weed more moist than others. It bugs me too, but I have friends who prefer it that way.

If you'd like to dry it a little bit, go with what the others said and just leave it sitting out (or in an open bag/jar) for a night. Next time you want to use the lime/lemon peel trick, just do it for a shorter period of time (12-24 hours).

I don't see how you could screw the peel trick up, but if you wanna fx it, get a paper plate or a piece of paper and set the bud on top of it and place it under a desk lamp overnight. Gets even the wettest of weed dry (even weed thats been out in the rain)
