Help with UA!!

So I attend a methadone clinic. I’ve struggled with the stopping of using fentanyl, so every time I get tested I pop hot for it. I’m also prescribed Valium from the clinic so they expect that. I recently came in to some clean pee. Clean as in only has methadone in it. I want to keep getting my benzo script so I want to make sure that when I use this “clean” pee, that I’m also popping for benzos. Is there a way to make this happen? Could I crush up some of my Valium and mix it into the pee when the pee is warm? That’s the thought that comes off the top of my head but idk if that will even work. Is there a way to make sure I pop for both methadone and benzos even tho the piss is just methadone positive? My fear is the clinic cutting back on my script because I get a lot for a week, and I take them all during that week. Any help or knowledge with this would be a life saver. Thank you!
 
I don't think that will work. Diazepam gets metabolized into substances like oxazepam which then gets excreted as oxazepam glucoside. So you would excrete considerably different substances than diazepam. Also unlike the glycoside diazepam isn't even water soluble, so you probably would make a huge mess trying to dissolve the crushed pill.
 
when you take valium you will test positive for multiple benzos, as diazepam creates several metabolites.... diazepam (itself), temazepam, oxazepam, and nordiazepam.

They will note the sudden absence of the metabolites... as diazepam and it's metabolites stick around with a 200hr half life. You can test positive for it for several months afterwards. (but in my experience usually it's gone after 4-6 weeks)

Also, if you crush up diazepam pills and put it into a UA, they will detect tampering from all the filler... I bet it would also cause the diazepam ng/ml level of the test to go OFF THE CHARTS

I dunno, I'm just guessing, but I really don't think it would be that easy to pull this off. It depends how good the lab is and how closely they actually check or tampering/evasion/deceipt in their samples.

It's not that difficult to get diazepam into a UA sample, but it doesn't make any biological sense to only find diazepam and none of it's in metabolites within human urine-- it would indicate your liver is not functioning--which would mean you would be dead.

Very interesting. Are you positive they actually test for diazepam directly?

Then they test for it; if they test for a metabolite that is how they know.

No actually they don't. It is an active metabolite of diazepam, chlordiazepoxide, clorazepate, prazepam, pinazepam, and medazepam.
 
Okay thank you guys for y’all’s info. I know they just test for benzos, not specifically Valium. I’ve had my dipshit of a caseworker once pulled me aside and was like “are you alright? You failed for benzos on your latest UA”. Like hey no kidding you prescribe them. Oh well, at least I’ll pass for the fetty and that’s all I really give af about. I’ll adapt to the rest. Thank you again everyone!

Yes. Diazepam is also a metabolite of other benzos. It's routinely tested for.

Methadone clinics don't use panel tests. They send it to an actual lab and they use GC/MS to test the UA.
 
I think you are going about this the wrong way. Would it not be easier to offer somebody on methadone a few valiums in exchange for their urine in 12 hours? -- homescreen it make sure guy isnt on anything else that pops. Acquire slightly dirtier urine.

now I may delete this part of the post at somepoint but hypothetically my urine was sent to redwood toxicology once a month. I am prescribed clonazepam but at the time was heavily reasearching clonazolam and amazingly it was never noticed.

BUT I must not have been taking the clonazepam because one month I remember them pulling me aside and asking to see a clonazepam script -- which luckily I had -- the larger point is sometimes clonazepam showed up and sometimes it did not --- since my clinic was concerned with suboxone only they did not care. "As far as we are concerned that falls out of our jurisdiction" -- "I try to only take them as needed". was the full convo breakdown.

Yeah my hope for them is they would be so happy/distracted that I did not faily for fetty that they don’t even notice the no benzo in my system. I thought I was going to get UA’d today but it didn’t happen. I’m expecting/hoping for one this week to get them off my back. I try quitting using the methadone, don’t get me wrong, but I can’t make it past that 2nd or 3rd day mentally. The ritual of it being much harder to let go of than the use and physical symptoms themselves.
 
Do they normally discuss you're valium levels or valium AT ALL? That is most likely your answer whether you should be callin someone from the clinic to do what you need to or if it will not be looked at. My understanding is methadone has slightly stiffer guidelines being a full agonist.

Before I dispense any advice on attempting to quit could i got a rough estimate of your dosage under 40, 40-60, 60-100 , 100-200, 200+ (If its more than 3 gimme an asterick or some shit lol)

My clinic felt very uhh pill milly so it may not be the same. I NEVER SEEN ANYONE CUT FOR A FAILED DRUGTEST. In fact it was 50$ extra if you failed your test and than you had to reschedule one. (I heard rumor three fails in a row you were out but never saw it myself). Guy is ok with pot and my benzo script (MI) --- Now my benzo doctor not so okay with suboxone so things are tough all over but what can ya do.

Yeah they haven’t threatened to dump me or anything. I guess I could have led with this, there is a legal aspect to this where they want my UAs. I’ve just have had trouble quitting on my own so with this pee it satisfies them and the legal side. They have never asked about Valium other than that one time and that was cause my caseworker was new and even tho I’ve had her for like 3 months, she didn’t know I was prescribed it. The doctor has only ever cared about the fetty. I was just curious because I get 21 10mg Valiums a week and didn’t want it to seem shady that all of a sudden there’s none in my system. I get my Valium from the clinic so idk if the doc would notice or just be too happy I finally passed for fetty. I’ve been failing for fetty for almost 8 months now.

Sounds like just be happy you passed for fet. (remember noone likes extra work and causing problems *professional courtesy* unlikely and against the path of least resistance to flag you -- but with a legal aspect the stakes are raised.

If you can't get somebody with the right piss combination (such a strange start to a sentence) I would just proceed and hope it goes unmentioned. It does beg the question have you ever went there with no valium in your system before? If so you have a precident (Sp) if not I would think of some plausible excuse while the test is at the lab. (Don't have one off the top of my head, mine are "take as needed" so its real easy to say "didn't need em lately" I suppose I suggest a similar path)

BUT I AM JUST SOME GUY ONLINE .02 worth of advice based on my past experiences
