Hey what's up, after ditching my other two plants that were male (one was very promising :() I am now left with a really small female that went all weird. I topped it and it kinda never grew anything back, just two triangular nodes that look kinda brown now. But the rest of the new growth on the plant looks very healthy and there are some sites with buds starting to form with nice white hairs coming out. I'm wondering if I can expect it to grow a bit more during flowering, and is it okay to continue to flower it into October, as its nowhere near ready yet, but started flowering a week or two ago. This is outdoors by the way. I've cut back the nutes by half which seemed to fix the problem I had with the leaves.

I'm going to take a picture tommorow so you guys can get a visual on it and give me some aid

Also, don't pee (urinate) on your plants, most of the time pure urine is too concentrated and because of the abundance of ammonia, it can be detrimental to the plants. Not to mention, it will throw off the pH levels as well.

I only pissed on them like once before I got some plant food.

I need to get a pic, I'll def try tommorow, I'm debating whether I should pull the unhealthy looking leaves off the top. (Dark green, one has a weird colored edge on it and just look funky) but I'll get a pic first because I want to help the plant grow new healthy shit, and not stunt its growth even more or kill it.

wtf. urine contains very small amounts of anything other than urea. it takes time and heat for that to turn into ammonia, so why waste a plant by pissing on it?

First off, a lot of weed is dark green. The weird leaf isn't going to kill it. It's a sign of nutrient lock-out or burn. If you've been overfeeding them stop. You can use 1/4 of the suggested strength of plant food in your water and the plants will be getting more than enough. Pulling the leaf off will just stress the plant more. But not very much at that. Do some reading then try again, but by no means give up on this one.

When did you top it? It sounds like it got overly stressed by the topping. Even plants I've seen that have been deer topped have grown back just fine. How old is it now? How many nodes does it have? Are you flowering it yet?

Peace,
PL

if youre in the same growing seasons as iam your late, really late. you should be just about ready to harvest. sorry but sticking plants behind your shed just doesnt cut it. they need care and love.

better luck next time

I was smoking all day today with friends, keep forgetting to get a pic.

It's flowering, its growing nodes with tops shooting out of them with white hairs, no major bud formation yet though.

the only surefire way to save a failing outdoor grow is to bring it inside and set it under lights and in proper soil (don't rip the roots though)

The damaged leaves that are my primary concern, vasty improved from before though:

Yeah so now you got a visual someone can tell me what's wrong or what to expect, I've been watering it about once a week with a bottle of aquafina and I cut the nutrients I've been giving it in half, which seemed to help those problem areas a tiny bit. Those pics show where it didn't grow anything new after being topped, and where its starting to bud.

Have you ever grown a plant before? Im sorry, i dont mean to be rude, but even if you just put the seed in the soil and left it a lone all summer it should be bigger than that. Unless you had that thing in no light, i have no idea what you did. Whatever you do, just dont do what you did this year, next time haha sorry.

I wouldnt expect to get anything out of that. I would throw it in the trash purely because the consequences of it being found by law officials would outweigh any of this plants use.

Write it off as experience and start learning for next season.

^agreed, I didn't want to reply at first because I didn't want to be rude either

OP: sorry, but this plant is a liability as clam said. I'm also confused at how small it is. The "topping" you did also served no purpose Everyone has to start somewhere and you can only get better though. I would suggest buying some sort of cannabis grow guide and justify its cost with your guarantee of a higher yield ;) Make a plan for next season that you could start now and tweak as you learn more

I had two other plants, both were male, one was pretty big though. The mistake I made was planting that plant and another of the males in miracle gro, I transplanted them to better soil eventually but it stunted their growth alot. I don't care I'll be happy as long as it produces a bit of bud.

^ I'm surprised it got as far as it did. Let us know if know produce any.

edit: damn brownies fuck with my grammer

yeah dude, dont throw it out. you'll get somethin out of it. just take good care of it and make sure it gets the right amount of light and nutrients now. you could get an 8th out of it at least if it grows taller. although if you leave it outside at this point the game may be lost.
