Hi,
Im new to this site did a bit of searching and found out allot. ive been on methadone maintenance for 7 months now im at 130mg, but i still cant shake my cravings and have slight withdrawls at night(enough to make it hard to sleep). So after bothering my councilor for a couple months because they dont like to give increases i assume i get to do a peak and trough. that was on monday its now friday and still waiting on the results, but there talking about splitting my dose. now i dont think thats such a bad idea but i feel like 65mg wont take me through the day. does anyone know how i could ask for an increase so im on a higher dose befor they split it, and from all the info i found by searching ive come to understand that this peak and trough is more like a guideline rather then a sure thing, is it common for clinics to use this test to have a reason not to increase you?
hope thats easy enough to read thanks in advance
