I'm currently on 90mg of cymbalta and 2mg a day of kolnopin and I was wondering if it is safe to use ketamine? Also it will be my first time using ketamine and I wanted to know how much I should use. It will not be injected. Thanks for the input.

its probably alright to go ahead with it but i wouldnt recommend using alot. are you railing it? i would recommend a skimpy line at first. it hits pretty quickly so if you like the way it feels keep at it lol thumbs up on the non-injection haha

OP, I wouldnt recommend using ketamine whilst under the influence of benzodiazepines. You definitely risk some respitory problems.

While 2mg clonazepam is still relavitely low dose, I find it best to play it safe.

If you do plan on going ahead with using the ketamine though, start out with around 25-30mg, 50mg if its not that great ket.

This should be fine for someone with no tolerance.

If you do not have a scale, a "key bump" will do, however I suggest not snorting off of a key, it's just too unsanitary.

2 mg of klonopin isn't a small dose, but ketamine and benzos are safe to mix. still, i would recommend waiting til your clonazepam has worn off before taking the ketamine, so if you take it in the morning you should be good to take the ketamine by the evening.

^ That's been brought up before and I'm not sure where Erowid are coming from with that but they are not infallible. It's always an extra risk combining downers but benzos are used routinely with ketamine for medical purposes to avoid "emergence phenomena" or tripping as it's also known. By the same token, benzos and ket is not such a great combo not so much for the possible risks but cos you just don't remember much of it. Either way, the answer is the same - best not to combine them.

I would skip the clonazepam if possible just to reduce any potential problems; but manly because I find that it reduces the psychedelic aspects of the experiences and turns the k into more of a straight downer. It may encourage nausea too but thats just my limited experience.

I very much doubt that it is dangerous. Ketamine is well known for its relative inability to cause respiratory depression espec. with relatively minor dose of clonazepam.
