can someone post a 5 paragraph essay about legalizing bud because i have to do it for my teacher im in the 11th grade please post an essay i will love you <3
 
5 paragraph? Man that is a retarded requirement. Seeing as a paragraph can be as little or as many words as you choose basically.

What subject do you have to write an essay on the legalisation of marijuana in? Sounds interesting ha.
 
Tripman, 5 paragraph is just a standard when you're in highschool learning to write essays -- Introduction, 3 body paragraphs, conclusion.

and OP, do your own homework, none of us are going to do it for you so this thread was completely pointless.

Paragraphs usually have the be either 3-5 or 5-8 sentences, depending on how much of a bitch the teacher is.

Thats weird. Even in high school over here we were given a word requirement and had the licence to write our essay however we wanted, of course you generally stuck to similar formula's like the one you mentioned... But still.

Weird, I don't understand why they would teach you to write an essay in a shitty form like that, then when you have to branch out you're going to be stuck with that in mind.

But yeah OP can't you go troll some more in OD or something, we ain't gonna do your homework.
 
Tripman, I think it's just to give the really clueless kids direction --- I fully agree you sorta get stuck that way, since even my longer grad school writings end up in some similar format --- then again, it's a logical one at least. Sometimes there are word count limits also, but usually it just happens that if you follow the 5-8 sentences per paragraph at 5 paragraphs, everyone's essay will be about the same.
 
Makes sense I guess. There are some really clueless kids around high schools... Like the OP.

I spose they are going to all end up similar in words although somewhat depending on whether you like complex or compound sentences or whatever. All the budding philosophers probably write ten times as much as regular students haha.
