Help weed from Basel, Switzerland to London, UK

Ok well loads of people have been asking for suggestions to bring goodies back from their holiday place so i need some help.
Well weed is legal in switzerland and i live their but i study in london and i want to take back a few ounces with me. Now in my mind the easiest thing is to just stick it in the luggage underneath the plane, but i've recently heard the get scanned. Now does weed show up in X-ray scans. Like customs never stop me i do this trip often but have never brought drugs along. Is there any sure method to make something scan proof? How can i rap the weed so it doesn't look like weed when it's scanned? anyone who knows or has done this quick help needed.
 
Personaly I wouldn't try and get weed into the UK through the airport. If your studying at uni in London you should have no problems getting hold of it over here. 1/8th skunk £20 (48.3736 CHF), 1oz £110-£140 (266.050 CHF
- 338.576 CHF) and weed and hash is much, much cheaper. If you must get someone to send it to your dorm or whatever.
 
ive wondered the exact same thing about how clear these x-ray machines are (cos ur hand luggage WILL go through these). id have thought it easier to conceal the weed in ur suitcase (wrap it well and cram it in a shampoo bottle?) cos while these are examined (fuck knows how, ive seen a couple of methods) they're not scrutinized.
tbh though id leave the airport, its such a risk and if u get caught then that is you fucked (unless maybe its a small amount, apparently you can come from Amsterdam to UK and if they catch you with 10grams then its a slap on the wrist, you go through).
bearing your situation in mind, that ur not going to be bringin back much more than decent personal then i suggest you slyly and flyly package your weed ultra smell proof and post it from switzerland to London.
keep the package compact. keep weed in its initial bag and then maybe compress it a bit by wrappin it over with masking tape (its upto u how much air u take out, cos there is a lot of potential for compression).
now gather materials to smell proof it, cos when the package is passed from the swiss into britain then the dogs give it a good sniff. assumin there isnt too much weed (dont even think about pushin 50gr) and u havent been smokin around the finished package then stuff like shampoo, peanut butter and grease can smell proof the package real well, with layers of clingfilm inbetween to prevent things gettin too messy.
this way, IF the package gets caught then well you cant be prosecuted cos well anyone cood post anything to anyone (wood tony blair care for a oz of coke?) so you'll get a letter sayin something along the lines of "this has been found [x], you can claim it and be prosecuted or the goods will be burned". to be the on the safe side, you'd want to post 2 or 3 small packages to different houses on different days cos there is a reasonable chance they'll find 1 (depends on how SLY/convincing the package looks at the end and how well its smellproofed) and you dont want a suspcious surge of bulky packages all travellin from and to the same districts, cos well the postman prolly smokes and he mite even guess

o yea, maybe avoid postin from the capital (where all the tourists go?). i dont know wots its like in Basel or if that even is the capital but basically packages commin from Amsterdam look more suss than ones from Gronigen, i was there last year and this and sadly they've stepped up the measures when it comes to this kinda thing.
last year i went in and handed the package in, no problems.
this year, tried the same but strolled in fucked (coked, stoned) only to be given a mini-form askin about what was in the package, how much it was worth and askin for a signature. needless to say that one got caught, tho there were so many other factors which cood have caused this (other than the package lookin like THE most obvious stoner-tourst-souveneir effort).
so, try keep it so compact u can just put it in the post box w/o any hassle. u mite not get much, but better than nothin!
 
Thanks for the ideas I have been thinking about it and have come up with the following solution. Firstly, I live in France 1 minute by car to Switzerland and it is no problem getting past the border by car (Switzerland/France)so any packages would be leaving france.
Yes i know weed is available in London but as you said £20 1/8. I can find it here for £40 an ounce significantly cheaper and probably a lot fresher as they grow it here.
I've decided to take like an ounce on my body through the airplan cause i'll want it for immediate use and my parents are driving up two days later with some of my stuff. I decided i'll dismantle my tv, and stuff the weed inside it. My parents have done this trip loads of times from france to england and the never get stopped, so i think that sounds safe and i can bring more gear as well.

You'd be supprised at the quality of some of the weed in the UK but if you can get it for £40 an once then I can certainly see why you wouldn't want to buy it over here.
