In the depths of my mind, surrounded by my kid's t
Hey guys, I figured some of you have been in a similar situation as me so I thought I'd throw this question out there. I'm 25 and have severe arthritis in both my legs from surgeries and what not. I've tried every OTC solution and a lot of scripts which ended up causing an ulcer. :| I've tried every cream I can find (even some weird Chinese tincture). So now the only thing I've found that helps is tabs and trams, which I can't get a regular script for. So what do you guys use? :?

Thanks!

Why can't you get a script? If you have legitimate pain, and it sounds like you do, then a doctor should have no problem with writing you a script. Up until 8/18/14 you could order tramadol online with only minimum hassle. But now that it is a C4 Scheduled drug doctors will not hand it out like candy any longer. And with hydrocodone products, and I assume that "tabs" are lortabs (hydrocodone), going to a C2 Scheduled drug they may become as hard to get as percocet, roxi's, and morphine!

I agree with edgewise. As long as you have medical documentation a Dr should write for you unless you have drug related legal issues or you've been flagged in a database state (which I think is pretty much all states at this point). I have severe arthritis and one thing that helps for my knees are knee braces. Aleve is the best o.t.c. for me but you've probably tried that already. I didn't know ultram was a C IV and hydrocodone was going C II . Always learning something new on B/L

You need to find a Dr that is willing to just trust you with pills and write the damn script . If you were in the DFW metroplex I could help you

That's the thing, where I live a lot of doctors have been under deep scrutiny fro handing out lortabs and tramadols too freely so they're hard to get. If I could find a doctor that would prescribe them that would be great. If anyone knows of any doctors in the northern Utah area who would be willing I definitely have the evidence. All they have to do is look at the 5 scars on my one leg and x rays.

I feel you, I have two very obvious chronic pain injuries, and it took me a month to find a Doctor who would work with me, because I had past dependency issues. My Doc is 27 miles away from me, but he takes the the time to work with me, and not just assume I want to get high. Sometimes a person just has to get down and dirty, so to speak, and just hunt, hunt and hunt until you find what you need.
