help, shot up in penis!

this is important, this method of injection is common in the nitty gritty world of iv drug users. with heavy cocaine use, hits become frequent, there is much constriction from the acidic drug in itself.

like i mentioned i knew two people who had to do this in order to register, one person i walked in on, the other shamefully admitted. many people may have to do this temporarily, or other veins are not an option, also and what seems most important, are the guys who dont admit, or ask for help out of shame, and embarassment...

thats no good, this is a dangerous situation.
it would be very good if one could ask with out the punch-lines, or have a faq, or something to refer to; if you are reading this and have pertinent information/experiences, please post in the Anonymous forum if you would rather not "publicly".

the massive blood flow, sensitive thin skin, heat, moisture, darkness etc. are all work contributors to bacteria growth and infection.

if he refuses to see doctor, tell him to free ball while out, and hardly anything at home..
he should go to the er, or pcp, immediately if the area spreads out in a red color, becomes itchy, or if he develops any noticeable fever. dont fight the fever, that is an indicator that your body is working properly, and fighting an infection.

even if nine of this occurs, who knows what long term effects may come, if he would of only had it checked out......
please keep us posted.

and again, please anyone who does this, has done this, or has information & experiences, please share, anonymously even; in hopes of a faq...
 
Damn just last week I had the displeasure of a shitty phlebotomist because
my pm doctor demanded me to get bloodwork. No excuses, he wrote up the
form, no charge just get it done today. So I went there and the woman could
not find my veins. Her forth attempt actually went through my vein and it hurt
like crazy, could not get any blood to come out. Had to call another location to
get a more experienced phlebotomist to come and do this.
And she took it from my hand first try, no problems. But I got a bad hematoma
(sp?) from where the other woman stabbed me too hard. It's still like a large
lump- black and blue. The other stabs marks bruised, but are nearly gone.
When you have unusable veins, just quit it. It's not worth the pain and hassle
I could not imagine the pain and sensitivity this man is enduring partly cos I'm
a woman but hate needles to begin with. That must be awful for him!
 
I just remembered that movie Trainspotting. When the Swammi guy was
letting this girl inject him via penis. What I went through has to be nothing
compared to that...

Just tell the guy to go to the hospital thats the only sensible advice i could honestly recomend in this case. Anything other then that risks go right up to amputation if it get's bad enough. And as a guy i don't even want to think about that :(

So how did the guy get on?

I think your friend would be fine...I used to inject papaverine into my penis for an instant and very long erection, but once I forgot to rub my penis to spread the drug...My penis turned very black for a couple of weeks, but I was fine afterwards...Even to this day my penis is darker than usual.
