this is important, this method of injection is common in the nitty gritty world of iv drug users. with heavy cocaine use, hits become frequent, there is much constriction from the acidic drug in itself.
like i mentioned i knew two people who had to do this in order to register, one person i walked in on, the other shamefully admitted. many people may have to do this temporarily, or other veins are not an option, also and what seems most important, are the guys who dont admit, or ask for help out of shame, and embarassment...
thats no good, this is a dangerous situation.
it would be very good if one could ask with out the punch-lines, or have a faq, or something to refer to; if you are reading this and have pertinent information/experiences, please post in the Anonymous forum if you would rather not "publicly".
the massive blood flow, sensitive thin skin, heat, moisture, darkness etc. are all work contributors to bacteria growth and infection.
if he refuses to see doctor, tell him to free ball while out, and hardly anything at home..
he should go to the er, or pcp, immediately if the area spreads out in a red color, becomes itchy, or if he develops any noticeable fever. dont fight the fever, that is an indicator that your body is working properly, and fighting an infection.
even if nine of this occurs, who knows what long term effects may come, if he would of only had it checked out......
