help. severely constipated from methadone.

this is embarassing. im am so damm constipated from this methadone, its crazy. i have been on for the last 9 months straight. this just started happening about a month ago. at first, i was fine. i then switched to the diskettes and got const.
my body got use to the diskettes and it went away. i then switched back to the liquid and it happened again. i have been on the liquid for the last 2 months and my body hasnt got use to it yet.
its so frustrating. i tried senkots, but it didnt work. what is a very strong laxative with stool softener? i feel weird asking this, but oh well. its life and this sucks. any advice appreciated. thanx

It's a real bitch...happened to me on/off for yrs on the stuff. liquid parrafin softens ya shit, so does leaving ya methadone til later, but the latter isnt so nice as i am sure u know. generally laxatives didnt work for me. the only thing that will return ya to normal is getting off meth, easier said than done i hear you say. i got of a very large habit by switching to subutex (buprenorphine 14mg then tapered this for a month).

i just buy a bag of prunes or a carton of prune juice, then eat/drink the whole thing. it works for me.
