Just keep in mind and be prepared for a rough transition regardless of PW's. Even switching to bupe from 30mg's of methadone, many people have a rough time stabilizing on the bupe. So if it's not working right away, don't worry. Just stick with it, and in a few days it'll work better and better until you're stable on the bupe.

OKAY:

Well since I have not dosed my methadone today ( I must abstain from done' becasue of its loong half life today because I'm switching to Subs tomorrow) I am already starting to get WD symptoms..I'm getting overall body tightness/ wanting to move and stretch muscles, The damn YAWNS with some teary eyeness obviously.

Clearly im starting to WD already, I think I should be able to dose a little bit of a short acting opiate, which would be Oxycodone, I only have 20mg, I would most likely IV, just because its such small amount and I need best relief because I absolutely cant stand WDs.

So m question is would it be fine to dose the 20mg oxy to help with my symptoms a bit, until tomorrow afternoon when I'm getting my Suboxone.

Edit: im wondering if that 20mgs oxy would even do anything considering my tolerence, even though it has been dropping as ive been dropping my meth dose alot.
 
Don't do it, man, otherwise it will fuck up your induction. You'll have to wait the full time all over again.

This part sucks, trust me I know.. but just remind yourself that you only have to do it once. Do it right, suffer a little bit now for a short period of time, knowing that soon you'll be fine once you start and stabilize on the bupe. But, if you don't follow through and induct properly by taking an opiate in between and not waiting long enough, it's not going to work and you're going to keep feeling like shit, while it also becomes harder and harder to make the transition.

So just do it now, man. I know it blows, but it will be over soon. It wont be though if you give in and take an opiate. You'll have to start all over again and all the suffering thus far will have been for nothing.
 
WELLL little update, my induction to suboxone went well. In a matter of hours I went from hellish methadone WD, then slowly the hellish pain starts to subside. %)

Fuck ya is all I can say. I was not going to make it one more night w/o relief, thankfully the suboxone seems to be working. :\
