Its like I have total neuralgia, or something. I don't know if this is benzo withdrawal or what the hell but this started with numbness in my face last night. I haven't been able to sleep in three days due to opiate & benzo withdrawal. I ordered some Xanax and got some Onax 2mg fake xanax bars. My pupils are dilated to hell. I can hardly type. I ran out of Lyrica + zopiclone together and opiates.
Been on and off benzos and opiates for 7+ years now.

I don't know wtf this is.. any help would be appreciated.

BL plz don't close thread.

I lost feeling on the left side of my foot during benzo w/ds. It's still not back yet and it's been 2 months and when i was dropping my dose fast i'd lose feeling in parts of my toes/hands/arms. When i'd return to my normal dose the feeling would generally come back. Numbness, tingling and that sort of thing happens during benzo w/d and that weird pain feeling in the limbs, all over the body will eventually go away. It sounds like benzo withdrawal specifically, must be hell with opiate withdrawal as well.

I agree that this could certainly be benzo w/d. I felt very similar things from alprazolam withdrawal. Why not try to taper with something better for this purpose than alprazolam?

Sounds like benzo withdrawal to me too. If I go more than a day without taking my dose, I start to feel that strange numb feeling you described. I feel it mostly in my head and on my tongue. It's not exactly a feeling of being numb though, per se. Maybe a combination of numbness, tingly feelings, and heaviness. Kinda like the feeling you get during a REALLY bad hangover. Either way, it's hella uncomfortable.

Hopefully you get the xanax you ordered soon. It's pretty dangerous to quit benzo's cold turkey, you can have seizures. And I hear it can drive you pretty much insane as well... this one dude said he thought the crows outside wanted to eat his soul. Sounds intense. If you're trying to quit, the best thing you can do when you get your xanax is to taper off... very, very slowly. That's what my addiction specialist is having me do. I was at 2 mg last month, and this month I'm at 1 3/4. Not gonna lie though, I've been slipping up lately and taking around four at a time like twice a day (the .5 mg ones) every once in a while, just cause I've been under so much stress lately. But before all the bullshit started happening, the tapering thing was working absolutely fine.

So yep. With benzos, a slow taper is most definitely the way to go.
